               Vacation is almost over, have you done anything productive? No? Me too! Luckily, I have a friend named Kevin Joshua Cala who taught me how to do the Microwave Project.

1.    SEARCHING FOR YOUR SITE
We should search for five sites, mine looks like this



NOTES FOR SEARCHING A SITE:

·         There should be people on the site
·         Each Line (Called Links) Should be at least 20km
·         Areas sloping downward is not recommended
·         Areas with a mountain, or elevation in the middle is recommended
·         Areas with a high altitude mountain or elevation in the middle is NOT recommended
·         DO NOT CROSS WATER AREAS
·         Maximum tower height found was 300 meters, the mountain in the middle should not block the tower
·         Mountains or places with elevations but not that high will block the reflection?

NOT OK AREAS:

Too High Mountain

2.    PATH PROFILE AND EXCEL



After choosing the sites, give NAMRIA a call for availability of your maps
Then we proceed to data input on Excel
D1 – First Point

D2 – Last Point

Example: Your Link is 24 meters long, 1st D1 is 0 1st D2 is 24, 2nd D1 is 1 2nd D2 is 23

Earth Bulge- (D1*D2)/17

Elevation – Use Path Profile, for path Profile Download the Google Earth Tutorial Above

Terrain and Allowance- Terrains set by Sir:
            Orchard- 6.10
             Coconut Plantation- 6.10
             Industrial- 50
             Woods- 6.10
              Rice Field - 0
              Residential- 50

            F1 - 17.3*SQRT(D1*D2/(Freq*Link Distance))
            .6F1- .6*F1

Total – Earth Bulge + Elevation + Allowance  + .6F1


HINDI PA NATUTURO KUNG PANO KUMUHA NG FREQUENCY IF MAY ALAM PASABI, TULONG TULONG TAYO :)
